Acquia names Conductor its 2025 Partner of the Year for Advanced Technology.

The Gist

  • OEM partnership integration. Conductor's AI tools embedded in Acquia's CMS.
  • Streamlined content workflows. Marketers optimize and create content natively with AI insights.
  • Enterprise team impact. Enables marketing teams to increase efficiency and content quality in line with evolving AI-driven discovery.

Conductor and Acquia formalized an OEM partnership that embeds AI-powered content creation directly into enterprise content management system (CMS) workflows.

According to company officials, the partnership announced Feb. 24 integrates Conductor Creator functionality natively within Acquia's digital experience platform. Acquia also named Conductor its 2025 Partner of the Year for Advanced Technology.

Rather than switching between systems, marketers can research, write and refine content directly within the CMS using AI-driven insights. The integration aims to support both traditional search performance and emerging answer engine visibility.

AI-Ready Content for DXPs

Optimization can no longer be considered something to do once content is published. Instead, it must be built into the creation process. By embedding our capabilities directly into Acquia's CMS workflows, we are helping teams operationalize AI-ready content at the point of production where it has the greatest impact.

Advent of Conductor AI

Conductor executed a significant strategic transformation in June 2025, shifting from traditional lead generation toward content-driven brand building and unveiling Conductor AI, a platform designed to help brands win visibility in generative AI answer engines including ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini.

The strategic bet delivered rapid results: Conductor reported record Q3 results on Dec. 16, 2025, adding more than 50 new enterprise logos. The company closed FY2026 with 50-plus new logos and surpassed ARR targets by 147%. Forrester named Conductor a Leader in its Q3 2025 SEO Wave.

This month, a joint survey with Clutch showed 87% of content marketers plan budget increases this year.

AI-Native Content Optimization in Enterprise CMS

Enterprise content teams want AI inside their publishing systems — not bolt-on tools requiring constant context switching.

DXP vendors responded throughout 2025 by embedding intelligence directly into content workflows, though implementation patterns and maturity levels varied significantly.

Leading platforms adopted distinct approaches:

  • Adobe expanded Sensei GenAI across Experience Cloud with Agent Orchestrator coordinating customer data access
  • Optimizely enhanced its Opal agentic AI platform for content creation and experimentation analysis
  • Sitecore integrated composable AI services for real-time audience segmentation and content generation
  • Acquia deployed AI agents embedded into SaaS CMS workflows for content automation

Despite vendor ambitions, CMSWire's DXP Market Guide surfaced persistent tensions. Organizations discovered that fragmented AI tooling introduced latency, governance risk and unpredictable outcomes.
