Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) provider Captricity is partnering with Pegasystems to capture data contained in handwritten or typed documents. The solution takes the paper problem one step further by addressing data trapped in those documents.
Through this partnership, Captricity will integrate its cloud-native solution into Pegasystems’ suite of customer relationship management (CRM) applications and the Pega 7 platform.
The Pega 7 platform is a single unified platform used to build business process management, case management, real-time decisioning and CRM applications.
Targeting Productivity, Customer Service
Cambridge, Mass.-based Pegasystems, founded in 1996, reported revenues of $683 million in 2015.
Oakland, Calif.-based Captricity 's data capture application has raised considerable interest in the digital content space. It's raised nearly $90 million since it was founded in 2011.
Learning Opportunities
So why this partnership?
“There is a tremendous complement between the products in highly regulated market segments. Pega users can get even more out of their investment — both in terms of productivity increase and better customer service — by automating form intake and enabling advanced analytics,” Brian Busch, director of business development at Captricity, told CMSWire.
Using Captricity’s data extraction, transformation and integration processes, users of either Pegasystems CRM or Pega 7 will be able to access their digitized handwritten data and feed it into business processes.
Pegasystems’ CRM suite — Customer Decision Hub — also comes with customer analytics.
