eZ Systems Updates Open Source CMS

Norwegian software shop, eZ Systems, have updated their open source Web Content Management System. The eZ Publish v3.9 release focused on features and fixes requested by eZ Publish clients, partners, and their open source community.The most notable change is the incorporation of the commercial editing interface, previously only available in the eZ Publish Now version. Other enhancements include: * Enhanced shipping manager * Version- and diff-view have been merged into a new view * Added extended LDAP user group mapping * Improved trash functionality * Various community contributions have been included * Support for translating class attribute names A full list of changes can be found in the v3.9 change log. The community version of eZ Publish 3.9 is 100% open source and freely available for download and use under the GPL license. For those who need professional support or integration services, the company offers two commercial flavors of eZ Publish: eZ Publish Now Provides out-of-the-box functionality appropriate for most scenarios. Includes installation, configuration and updates. eZ Publish Premium A tailor-made Content Management solution that provides custom functionality required for complex and specialized projects.
