EU Digital Experience and Martech vendor consolidates portfolio of acquired and built brands, announces AI agent choreography layer for digital experience professionals.

The Gist

  • Platform consolidation. Ibexa unifies five martech brands under one orchestration platform.
  • Agentic AI and automation. A new, extensible agentic AI orchestration layer aims to streamline marketing and digital experience operations across the Ibexa ecosystem, and beyond.
  • Ecosystem packaging and pricing. Opening the doors to multi-product consumption under a unified choreography layer represents significant cross-sell growth opportunity for Ibexa and potential stack and contractual simplification for its 1000+ active customers.

LISBON, Portgual — Ibexa says fragmented marketing stacks are costing enterprises too much and the related silos with their fragmented contexts are becoming major blockers on the road to an agentic AI martech stack. The company asserts that consolidation, simplified integration and rich context integration are the fix.

On stage this morning at their annual user summit in Lisbon, Ibexa CEO, Bertrand Maugain, announced that the firm is formally unifying five martech brands—Actito, Qualifio, Quable, Cohesivo and Raptor—into a single digital experience and marketing orchestration platform.

Rebranding the Brands

Ibexa has rebranded its historic CMS/DXP product, initially known as eZ Publish, then rebranded to Ibexa in April 2020, as "Cohesivo", and is elevating the Ibexa brand to be synonymous with their orchestration layer — a higher elevation wrapper that will eventually be part of every customer engagement.

The consolidation aims to address fragmented marketing stacks that drive up costs, present friction in an agentic world and prevent consistent customer journeys. The unified platform is built on Ibexa's composable DXP foundation, but additional introduces significant new investments in the company's orchestration layer.

"This new chapter is super exciting. Orchestration platforms need an open and more compact marketing stack, and our unified DXP is the perfect foundation," said Bertrand Maugain, CEO of Ibexa.

DXP Evolution: Orchestration Powered by Agentic AI

Since 2019, we've been focused on the right balance: strong independent products, tied together in one powerful, end-to-end solution for marketers. The best DXPs will evolve into orchestration platforms powered by agentic AI. We are determined to be the European leader in this space.

Ibexa's Unified Platform Capabilities

The unified platform combines multiple MarTech functions under one orchestration layer.

Ibexa promises that each point solution will remain purchasable as an independent product with continued roadmap investment. But that new pricing and packaging coming around mid-year 2026 will embrace a hybrid approach, introducing consumption based pricing where it's possible for "every customer to get everything".

The company claims customers can benefit from deeper orchestration over time on a single marketer-centric foundation.

The organization now includes more than 350 employees, including over 150 engineers, serving more than 1,000 customers. The AI Lab, created in 2025, is ramping up to more than 30 specialists in 2026.

Ibexa Recent Developments

In December 2025, Ibexa released DXP v5.0.4, focusing on AI-driven search capabilities and enhanced team collaboration features. The update reflects Ibexa's measured approach to AI adoption, prioritizing practical applications in search, content discovery and workflow support.

The v5.0.4 release followed the July 2025 launch of Ibexa DXP 5.0, which introduced real-time collaboration, ecommerce discounting and AI Catalyst for multi-provider AI actions. Subsequent releases added Elasticsearch 8 support in late January and professional UI translations for global deployments.

Maugain reported 100% revenue growth at the February 2025 Barcelona Summit. And Grégory Bécue, Chief Product Officer at Ibexa, told CMSWire staff that the number of customers licensing multiple Ibexa products had grown 100% over the trailing 12 months. Omdia validated Ibexa's unified composable platform in December 2025 analyst commentary.

Simplying Martech Stacks Through Governance, Consolidation

Nearly all major digital experience platform vendors now support composable and headless architectures, moving beyond monolithic systems toward modular flexibility. Generative AI and large language model connectors are becoming standard features, introducing new content generation capabilities alongside emerging data quality and compliance risks.

Learning Opportunities

Organizations face mounting pressure to simplify bloated stacks through governance and consolidation. The DX stack no longer has a fixed hub. Orchestration layers now connect data, content and personalization in real time.

Even advanced AI tools fail when martech stacks are fragmented or workflows lack standardization.

Ibexa Background

Ibexa provides a composable digital experience platform and a range of martech point solutions for mid-market and enterprise B2B organizations. Founded in 1999 and headquartered in Norway, as of Nov. 2021 the company is part of the QNTM Group. Since that transaction, the combined QNTM / Ibexa leadership team acquired Actito in 2022 and Qualifio in 2023 to expand customer activation and engagement capabilities, followed by acquisitions of Quable in 2024 to add product information management (PIM) and Raptor in 2025 to strengthen customer data (CDP), personalization and recommendation functionality. The compnany currently operates globally but with a predominantly European focus.
