Gilbane SF 2009

We're in the final stretch before Gilbane conference kick-off next week in San Francisco. If you’re still not registered, save some money (US$ 200) by using the CMSWIRE code.

For all of you who we will see in a few days, here are some of the happenings that are not to be missed.

Product Labs

One of the conference highlights is the Product Lab track, where vendors will showcase their solutions on specific web content management topics.

AutoTrader.com and Percussion, for example, will be presenting a case study. The presentation will be held at 1:30 PM on June 3.

On the same day, at 12:45 PM, Jahia plans to present its Product Lab entitled "Web Content Integration Software: Jahia Enterprise Edition v6."

On June 4, at 8:30 AM, SDL Tridion will host "Globalization: Your content, their language." Product Lab.

Ephox, Ektron, Microsoft and others will offer Product Labs as well.

Workshops

Conference attendees can select from more than 40 educational sessions, interactive panel discussions and workshops. Pre-conference workshops are scheduled for June 2 from 9:00 AM. To give you a little taste, here are some of the workshops that will take place:

  • How to Select a Web Content Management System
  • Time for a New Look at Open Source CMS?
  • Managing the Web: The Fundamentals of Web Operations Management

As you can see, the breadth of choice is not going to be a problem at Gilbane SF 2009 in any of the four major areas to be covered:

  1. Web Business & Engagement
  2. Managing Collaboration & Social Media
  3. Enterprise Content, Search & Publishing
  4. Content Infrastructure

Look like there will be enough knowledge shared at the event to keep your mental juices flowing for a long time. See you next week! Until then, here are some useful links:
