The 2010 Packt Awards (news, site) are looming, who are you going to vote for?

Cast Your Vote

We highlighted the sections for this US$ 24,000 open source CMS contest last month. Now the candidates have been announced and are ready for the final vote. Who will get your choice as the deadline of November 5 looms. Up for the open source CMS award are:

While in the most promising open source category, which applies to projects that have been running for less than two years, we have:

  • BuddyPress
  • LiveStreet CMS
  • Pimcore
  • Tomato CMS
  • WolfCMS

Save the Date

Up for the Hall of Fame award are the usual suspects; Drupal, Joomla and WordPress. While there are additional categories for e-commerce software, JacaScript library and graphics software.

The final announcements will be made on November 5, with your votes combined with that of a judging panel to decide the winners. One delighted voter will pick up an Amazon Kindle, so there's no reason not to join in the ballot.
