Major investment secured. LeapXpert raised $180 million led by Riverwood Capital.
AI governance focus. Funding will deepen AI and compliance in enterprise messaging.
Enterprise oversight gains. Business leaders get stronger control over messaging data and compliance.
LeapXpert, a communications governance platform vendor, on June 30 announced a $180 million growth investment led by Riverwood Capital, with participation from existing investor Portage Ventures. According to company officials, the proceeds will deepen the platform's ability to understand and act on governed conversations, accelerate growth across financial services, the public sector and the broader enterprise market, and expand its senior leadership team.
The New York-based company serves hundreds of organizations — including financial institutions and government agencies — that need to govern employee conversations on consumer messaging channels such as WhatsApp, iMessage, Signal and WeChat. LeapXpert was named a Visionary in the Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Digital Communications Governance and Archiving for two consecutive years, made the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 in 2024 and 2025, and joined the Financial Times' 2026 list of the Fastest-Growing Companies in America.
"Messaging is where business happens now," said Dima Gutzeit, founder and CEO of LeapXpert. "The next wave of enterprise value will come from making those conversations trusted, connected, and actionable. But AI can only work with what enterprises can see and govern. Our mission is to give every organization the infrastructure to govern their conversations and the intelligence to act on them."
Recent LeapXpert News
LeapXpert has repositioned itself from a compliance-focused messaging vendor into what it calls an AI-powered Governed Communication Intelligence platform. Riverwood's Jeff Parks joined the board, and proceeds are earmarked for deeper AI development and expansion beyond financial services and the public sector into the broader Forbes Global 2000.
The company's product and partnership moves set the stage for the raise. LeapXpert acquired cross-platform messaging startup StartADAM in June 2025 to add Discord as a governed channel, then in December signed a channel deal with AVANT to reach regulated buyers in finance, government, healthcare and education. Days later it launched Platform 3.0, adding AI summaries, real-time alerts via LeapXpert Signals, Communication Workflows and the Maxen Client Intelligence app.
Analyst recognition tracked the momentum: Gartner named LeapXpert a Visionary for the second consecutive year in its Magic Quadrant for Digital Communications Governance & Archiving in October 2025, reinforcing its standing in a market where regulatory scrutiny of off-channel communications continues to drive enterprise demand.
