EnterMedia 8.0 Includes HPC, Clustering Features

EnterMedia, an open-source digital asset management solution, announces features that were developed to meet Harvard University's high performance computing requirements. "They wanted the ability to deal with over 600 simultaneous uploads, along with the capacity to encode large video files on their server," explains Christopher Burkey, CEO and creator of EnterMedia. He says that clustering, which allows three computers to be working as one machine, was also added to this new release.
