Episerver, adigital experience providerwithheadquarters in Nashua, N.H. andStockholm, Sweden, claims the purchaseprovides it with the ability to personalize at scale "on an unprecedented level."

Personalization Fueled by Analytics, Machine Learning

ItaddsPeerius’ smart personalization technology to theEpiserver Digital Experience Cloud. It alsoenables Episerver's vision ofautonomous personalization, whichsupports users inreal-time with predictive and adaptive analytics that apply machine learning to big data.

Mark Duffell, president and CEO of Episerver, noted in a statement thatPeerius "effectively supercharges" the Episerver Digital Experience Cloud’s ability to help businesses improvecustomerexperiences withreal-time personalization.

Learning Opportunities

Roger Brown, CEO of Peerius, said joining Episerver accelerates his company'sproduct roadmap in areas includingenterprise search and pushes it into thedirect-to-consumer (D2C) and business-to-business (B2B) commerce segments where Episerver has a larger footprint.

Brown will remain CEOof Peerius, an Episerver Company,reporting to Duffell.

Episerver introduced role-based personalization to its platform in 2011.
