Modera CMS
Too often we associate content management systems with boring, mundane industries. But even the exciting, impulsive side of things needs a CMS. Such is the glamorous life for Modera. The multinational-based CMS specialists are gearing up to reveal their new line of products at this week's Internet World 2008. Included in the unveiling is the new Web 2.0 e-commerce fan site for the popular British band, Jamiroquai, which was produced in conjunction with Modera's partner, and the band's digital marketing agency, Million Media. Although Jamiroquai's site will share much of the focus at Internet World 2008 as it demonstrates how the recording artist manages a strong digital presence, the real star will be the new products Modera has developed, including several 'off the shelf' CMS, intranet and CRM products, as well as updates to Modera Enterprise and Professional products and the introduction of a software as a service (SaaS) business model to be launched later this year. Modera will use its time at the conference wisely, exhibiting and offering demonstrations of many of their products, which have gained notoriety through their implementation among small companies and global industry giants alike (e.g., Citizen Watches,, The Fly (part of the Mama Group Plc), Snowdog Records and Nissan). While Modera awaits to announce their new products and service enhancements, we have it on good faith that they include the release of new tools that will "allow developers to create easier, faster and more enjoyable modules that are supported by easy-to-follow documentation". In addition, developers will also enjoy the flexibility of settings and a new URL system, which aims at providing configurable URL routes -- a significant upgrade that will work in any environment regardless of server settings. Established in 2000, Modera is a multinational organization which operates as two legal entities, Modera USA Inc. in North America and South America; and Modera Consulting, Ltd. in Europe and other regions worldwide. Modera boasts a commitment to staying "one step ahead of the curve" in order to meet the evolving demands of technology and customers. Their dedication to developing new and innovative tools to help businesses achieve their goals through superior web communications seems to be apparent as they embark on their Internet World 2008 demonstrations. Going to Internet World 2008? Be sure to catch their presentation "Brand building in digital environments with a CMS driven e-commerce website" scheduled for Wednesday, April 30 at 10 AM (GST).
