Percussion Rhythmyx FastForward for WCM has won "Best of Show" in the Web Content Management Category at the AIIM ON DEMAND conference in Philadelphia. Winners of the third annual awards, sponsored by AIIM E-DOC Magazine, were chosen by panel of industry experts who identified the best products at the show in seven software and three hardware categories.Rhythmyx FastForward for WCM is a bundle of components combined with the company's Rhythmyx Web Content Management (WCM) solution. Designed specifically for enterprises who want fast time-to-value but do not want to sacrifice future scalability and extensibility, Rhythmyx FastForward for WCM enables users to get their Web sites under management rapidly, and still benefit from Rhythmyx's leading multi-site, multi-channel features. "More so than in the first two years of this award, judging was extremely competitive with Percussion ultimately winning out over stiff competition," said Bryant Duhon, editor, AIIM E-DOC Magazine. "The judges cited Rhythmyx's ease of implementation and ability to accommodate a variety of content types across customer websites. We are pleased to present the Best of Show award in Web Content Management to Percussion." FastForward for WCM includes 11 pre-built content types; out-of-the box workflows to optimize approval processes; out-of-the-box templates to speed Web page layout design; Microsoft Word support for rapid end user adoption; rich editing capabilities; Active AssemblyT to graphically manage related Web content; and managed navigation to support dynamic menuing, section pages, breadcrumbs and sitemaps.
