Cumulus is an enterprise digital asset management (DAM) product produced by Canto Software. Various Cumulus editions are available, each designed to meet the needs of different environments and/or organization sizes.

The software is generally provided as an on-premise solution, but can also be run in the cloud. However, Cumulous is not a multi-tenant solution.

Cumulus automatically captures many kinds of metadata and supports all common standards. Users can automate previously manual processes and streamline content creation. Users can search via keywords, tags and phrases and also have the ability to create customizable queries.

The platform allows clients to manage their video content for a variety of scenarios and provides broad transcoding capabilities. Users can also manage version histories to keep track of all file changes.
