Customer engagement often refers to online community websites or branded forums serving as FAQs or customer support sites. They sometimes have a large amount of user generated content (UGC), and perhaps a chat system in place to help contacting customer support. Commenting systems are similar in that the page owner can dialogue back and forth with visitors on a wide variety of page types.
