Customer Experience: Marketing Automation Provider Act-On Q2
Cloud-based marketing automation provider Act-On Software, released a few highlights from a successful second quarter.

Besides mentioning that revenue was up 214 percent from the second quarter of 2012, Act-On didn't release any other numbers from its report, but instead focused on company developments. These developments featured product growth and company expansion.

New Products and an Office in Europe

During the last quarter, Act-On introduced two new products: Act-on Inbound and Act-On Mobile. Act-On Inbound integrates with products like Google Adwords, Advanced SEO and Wordpress and helps marketers manage inbound and outbound campaigns and nurture leads, all from a single platform.

The second release is the company’s newest app: Act-On Mobile for Android and iOS users. Act-On Mobile can be used by executives and employees who need to track information and edit campaigns on the go. Information can include campaign performance, website visitors and sales reports, while users can edit or launch campaigns from their smartphone with mobile templates, forms and previewing features. 

New products aren't the only company-centric news from the last quarter. Act-On, which saw the addition of 200 new employees in the second quarter of 2012, expanded its global presence with an office in London and introduced more languages to the Act-On UI including Norwegian, Finnish, Korean, Hebrew and German.

The company also boasted its personal achievements within the last quarter. It was named one of the Portland Business Journal’s 100 Fastest-Growing Private Companies and SilconIndia’s siTech 10 2013 Top 10 Most Promising Companies.
