Forward Search for Sitecore is a customizable and scalable Enterprise Search platform that integrates with Sitecore, adding advanced search capabilities, additional content sources, search driven navigation, Faceted Search, and advanced content and search analytics.
The Forward Search administration and analysis tools is fully integrated into Sitecore, even configuring itself according to the user defined Sitecore role and language. The client is localized to English and Danish but can be localized to any language and be customized for different job task roles, for a geographic, department or entity roles.
The Forward Search architecture includes secure search across multiple sources and solutions, ensuring rights of content on user- or group level. Forward Search scales to millions of documents and terabytes of data, in a single or several real-time updated indexes, with insignificant search response time. Forward Search supports Load Balancing and Fail-over setups.
Forward Search is available for on premise installation or as a cloud-based platform (SaaS or PaaS).
